Silvey is vice president for advancement at the Ozarks Medical Center Foundation. She also worked at Missouri State University-West Plains for 38 years. Silvey was a history instructor from 1968 to 1991 and director of development from 1991 to 2006. Silvey has a bachelor’s degree in education from Missouri State University and master’s degree in education from the University of Missouri.
