Join Bears Lead

We are so glad you are interested in joining in Bears Lead! Our fall 2024 application will be live soon, so please check back in a few weeks to submit your application. Our seats fill quickly, so we recommend applying early. 

Who can apply? 

• All first-time, freshmen students are invited to apply.
• Bears Lead will prioritize admitting students who are first-generation and/or Pell grant eligible.

Participant Expectations:

• Attend Bears Lead orientation (first-years only)
• Attend all scheduled one-on-one appointments with your assigned success coach or reschedule in a timely manner
• Attend monthly Bears Lead community meetings or campus events on the approved the alternate event list
• Check your email regularly (at least once a day, Monday through Friday)
• Follow through on tasks agreed upon with your assigned success coach to promote success (i.e., meeting with the Career Center, Bear CLAW, meeting with instructors)

At the end of each semester, students who have not been active participants in Bears Lead programming will not be reinstated the following semester.
