Learning about Missouri State

At MSU, your son or daughter will find a welcoming environment, excellent academic programs, costs lower than state and national averages, and an award-winning residence life, housing and dining services system.

We also offer award-winning advisors, one of the largest internship programs in the state and 375+ student organizations. Find out more about the services and resources we make available to you and your student:

Encourage your student to visit the Missouri State campus during his or her college search process. Visiting campus is the best way to see if MSU is the right fit. Take time to meet with an advisor and an admissions rep to get your questions answered.

We review completed applications for admission on a rolling basis. You may apply beginning in the summer prior to your senior year of high school. Deadlines vary depending on when you plan to enroll.

The Family Association at MSU provides a way for families to connect with the University, get their questions answered and find out about campus events.

Experience campus with your student during one of our great family events held throughout the year. The signature event is the fall Family Weekend, which includes open houses, a chance to take an MSU class, tickets to athletic events and more.

If your student decides to attend MSU, you can become a Partner in Education during their freshman year. This program builds a partnership between students, parents and student development staff members.
