Financial aid opportunities

Missouri State offers more than $130 million in financial aid to around 17,800 students each year. Students receive:

Submit your student’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by February 1 to meet the priority deadline. Missouri State’s federal school code is 002503.

Student employment opportunities

More than 2,000 students hold part-time jobs on our campus and about 6,000 students hold part-time jobs in the community. Missouri State’s Student Employment Services will help your student locate jobs that are compatible with his or her academic schedules and work experience.

Bursar’s office

The bursar’s office serves as the cashier for the University, and most bills you and your student pay will be sent to the bursar’s office.

Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, money order and credit card. If you wish to make online payment for your student, you need to create a CASHnet account.

Establishing a payment plan

My Payment Plan allows students in good financial standing to make charges to their University accounts and pay for those charges in monthly installments. Accepted charges include:

  • Required student fees
  • Residence hall charges
  • Taylor Health and Wellness Center charges
  • Parking permits and fines
  • Bookstore purchases

Charges incurred for and during the fall and spring semesters can be paid in three monthly installments during their respective semesters. Charges incurred for and during the summer semester can be paid in two monthly installments during the semester.
