Cooking Talks - Hy-Vee Dietetics

Hy-Vee Deitetics

This class will be led by Hy-Vee licensed dietitians.  They will be discussing the benefits of nutrition, preparation and cooking methods. The participants will create a small to medium meal that can be consumed during the class.

Session 1

Title - Cupid's Culinary Class

When - Monday, February 12, 2024

Time - 5:15 - 6:30pm

Instructor - Audrey Williams, Springfield Hy-Vee Dietitian

Summary - Join Hy-Vee dietitian Audrey Williams for a Valentine themed cooking class! Create delicious and nutritious recipes together and enjoy a fun night of food. Participants will break into groups to create a recipe in 30-45 minutes; participants will then come together at the end and eat family style.

Session 2

Title - Eat Right, Bite by Bite

When - Monday, March 18, 2024

Time - 5:15 - 6:30pm

Summary - Join Hy-Vee dietitian Audrey Williams during National Nutrition Month for a fun-filled cooking class! Recipes will be focused around small ‘bites’ of food. Think sophisticated finger food! Create delicious and nutritious recipes together and enjoy a fun night of food. Participants will break into groups to create a recipe in 30-45 minutes; participants will then come together at the end and eat family style.

Title - From Garden to Table

When - Monday, April 15, 2024

Time - 5:15 - 6:30pm

Summary - Join Hy-Vee dietitian Audrey Williams for a fun-filled cooking class! Recipes will be focused around vegetables you may grow in your garden this summer & different ways to utilize them. Create delicious and nutritious recipes together and enjoy a fun night of food. Participants will break into groups to create a recipe in 30-45 minutes; participants will then come together at the end and eat family style.
