Major requirements (30-34 hours):
All students majoring in business must also satisfy all College of Business Core requirements. Hours required in the college core range from 36 to 51 depending on major.
Major Core (9-10 hours):
Complete one of the following options:
Corporate and Investments option (24 hours):
- Six hours from: FIN 266(3), 381(3), RMI 211(3).
- FIN 390(3), 586(3)*, 587(3).
- Nine hours from: FIN 392(3) or 395(3); 480(3), 494(3), 570(3), 582(3), 589(3), 596(3), 598(3), 599(3); RMI 520(3), 530(3).
* Students who have completed ACC 301 , ACC 302 and ACC 504 may waive FIN 586. Waiver of FIN 586 does not waive any hours on the COB globalization requirement.
Financial Planning option (21 hours):
- ACC 321(3); FIN 381(3), FIN 538/RMI 538(3), FIN 581(3); RMI 211(3), 314(3).
- One course from: ACC 524(3), 525(3); BUS 550/LAW 550(3); COM 325(3); FIN 266(3), 390(3), 392(3), 395(3), 494(3), 587(3), 598(3); MKT 352(3); RMI 312(3), 313(3).
Fintech (24 hours):
- FIN 570(3), 589(3).
- ITC 260(3), 535(3), 580(3), QBA 337(3).
- One 3-hour internship: FIN 494(3) or ITC 494(3).
- One course from: ECO 409(3); FIN 392(3) or 395(3); 587(3), 598(3); RMI 520(3).

Accelerated graduate program in Business Administration
Eligible Missouri State undergraduate students may apply for admission to the Master of Business Administration program and begin taking graduate course work as they complete the work for a bachelor’s degree. A maximum of 12 hours of graduate credit may be counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree (Mixed Credit). Refer to the Graduate Catalog for specific admission requirements.

Accelerated graduate program in Cybersecurity
Eligible Missouri State undergraduate students in the College of Business may apply for admission to the Cybersecurity program and begin taking graduate course work as they complete the work for a bachelor’s degree.
