Note: Six hours may double count toward General Education requirements.

  1. Lower division core: CRM 210(3), 220(3), 250(3), 260(3), 270(3). All must be completed before enrolling in required courses at the 300 level or higher.
  2. Upper division core: CRM 330(3), 340(3), 341(3), 365(3), 415(3), 494(0), 496(3).
  3. 12 additional hours in Criminology courses numbered 300 or higher.
  4. Public Affairs Capstone Experience will be fulfilled by completion of CRM 496(3).

Accelerated graduate program in Criminology and Criminal Justice

Eligible Missouri State undergraduate students may apply for admission to the Criminology and Criminal Justice program and begin taking graduate course work as they complete the work for a bachelor’s degree. A maximum of 12 hours of graduate credit may be counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree (Mixed Credit). Refer to the Graduate Catalog for specific admission requirements.
