  3. Communication practices core (9 hours): COM 205(3); 325(3) or 326(3); COM 332(3).
  4. Conflict studies core (12 hours): COM 311(3), 511(3), 521(3), 523(3).
  5. Public Affairs Capstone Experience will be fulfilled by completion of COM 511(3).
  6. Three additional hours from: COM 307(3), 315(3), 328(3), 336(3), 338(3), 360(3), 390(3), 397(3), 405(3), 437(3), 439(3), 494(3), 506(3), 507(3), 508(3), 512(3), 513(3), 523(3), 550(3), 566(3), 597(3).
  7. Minor required (or second major).

Accelerated graduate program in Communication

Eligible Missouri State undergraduate students may apply for admission to the Communication program and begin taking graduate course work as they complete the work for a bachelor’s degree. A maximum of 12 hours of graduate credit may be counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree (Mixed Credit). Refer to the Graduate Catalog for specific admission requirements.

Accelerated graduate program in Professional Studies

Eligible Missouri State undergraduate students may apply for admission to the Master of Professional Studies program and begin taking graduate course work as they complete the work for a bachelor’s degree. A maximum of 12 hours of graduate credit may be counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree (Mixed Credit). Refer to the Graduate Catalog for specific admission requirements.
