Disruption: Power, Privilege, and Oppression

Disruption: Power, Privilege, and Oppression is a new training being developed by Multicultural Programs. This training will take participants through an exploration of different topics related to how we understand and define identity, how privilege and power relate, and how oppression manifests in our society. Disruption will combine general theory with action planning to help participants understand how we are socialized into oppressive systems and then make commitments and plans to change.

Disruption is currently in development, but will be piloted in Fall 2017. Please contact Matt Banks, Coordinator of Multicultural Programs and LGBT Student Services, with any questions regarding the training.
