This is a model four-year degree plan. Your path to graduation may vary based on factors such as college credit you earned while in high school, your choice of general education electives, availability of courses and your placement in English and mathematics.

Sample schedule

We recommend our students pursue the accelerated master’s option in education of the deaf and hard of hearing. This degree plan includes graduate courses for the accelerated master’s option.

This degree program can be completed in eight semesters. Check out the class schedule before scheduling your classes. Visit with your advisor to develop a plan that is right for you.

Tips for success

  • First and second semester - one choice must include a lab and overall total of Life Science and Physical Science must be minimum 7 credit hours.
  • Fifth semester - CSD 380: Integrated service learning course.
  • Fifth semester - CSD 360: CSD 492 will be offered in place of CSD 360 in summer and fall 2021 semesters.
  • This major will NOT prepare students for teacher certification nor will it allow entry into the CSD Accelerated Master's option.
