Summer Visit Day Schedule

Please bring and wear a mask. We can provide one upon check-in if needed.

Admission presentations (multiple times available)

11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in PSU Theater or PSU 313

Walking tours

9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Meet at bear statue north of the Plaster Student Union
Take a walking tour of academic buildings with a current student. Please allow 30 to 40 minutes for the tour. Last tour departs at noon.

10:45 – 11:15 a.m. in Carrington Auditorium
12 – 12:30 p.m. in Carrington Auditorium

  • Urban Gardening | Darr College of Agriculture
    Urban gardening helps promote healthy food in highly populated areas to prevent food deserts and reduce hunger. Come discuss how your career interests and goals can help address food insecurity across the globe.

  • Film Critic for a Day | Reynolds College of Arts & Letters
    Watch award-winning short films by Missouri State students and College of Arts & Letters faculty members.

  • We Mean Business | College of Business
    Learn about life as a Business Bear! Glass Hall is open for self-guided tours. Check out the newly renovated and expanded spaces. Each academic department has information and a representative to answer your questions.

  • Teaching Teachers | College of Education
    Explore various subject areas with activity stations for a hands-on experience with the College of Education.

  • K-9 Unit Demo | College of Humanities & Public Affairs
    Missouri State Highway Patrol K-9s play an important role in law enforcement. Corporal Barrett demonstrates K-9 Hugo’s drug detection and evidence search abilities and speaks about Hugo’s tracking, officer protection, building and area search capabilities.

    Explore Artificial Intelligence with activities of building computer programs to learn and play a video game “flappy bird” through autonomous learning.
