"Mistakes are a fact of life. It is the response to the error that counts." – Nikki Giovanni
I love Jamaican food! I came across a hidden gem called Hibiscus Jerk Hut that serves good Oxtail or Rasta Pasta. The cook is personable and plays great music while you wait.
Research paper review; career and professional advice; study abroad; funding for internships; opportunities to work with professors on research; mental health counseling; multicultural services and disability support services – these are all offered by most schools, but it is up to you to recognize your needs and make use of such resources. As a first-generation college student, I did not discover these resources until my 2nd and 3rd year of college. This is true for many college students. Take advantage of all that campuses have to offer to help you grow academically, professionally, and personally. Never again in your life will you find so many different resources available to you in one place.
There are so many things to get involved in on campus and there is always something to do! With over 375 student organizations, there is something for everyone. With so many things happening, the campus is lively and active.
