Advisement

An advisor is the go-to resource for your academic success.

How do you get an advisor for occupational therapy?

You’re automatically assigned an advisor when you’re admitted to the program.

Your advisor will be an OT faculty member. They will have knowledge and experience in your interest area.

Meeting with your advisor

You should initially meet with your advisor no later than the first full week of classes.

As you progress in your program, contact your advisor during office hours or by appointment for questions about courses or program requirements.

Forgotten your assigned advisor?

Access your advisor’s information through the Student tab on My Missouri State.
