Music Minor

Expand your understanding of music by pairing this 18-hour minor with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. It can be a great complement to a language, literature, business, or mathematics degree.

The following are the requirements for the music minor:

  • Basic Theory (6 hours): MUS 103(3), 104(3)

  • Music History/Literature (6 hours): MUS 239(3), 346(3)

  • Applied Music (4 hours)

  • Elective Music Courses (2 hours) to bring total hours in Music to 18

Minor degrees are also available in Music Composition and Recording Arts.
