Program description

The Graduate Certificate in Biomolecular Sciences provides a 13-credit hour graduate-level experience for those interested in a deeper understanding of the techniques and applications used in the field of cell and molecular biology. The program provides for the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary for supporting burgeoning scientists in this field. Completion of this certificate can occur as part of the Master’s in Biomedical Sciences graduate program.

Admission requirements

  1. Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
  2. GRE score of 290 or higher

Retention requirements

After admission into the Graduate Certificate in Biomolecular Sciences program, the students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, with no more than one course with a grade of "C", and no course with a grade of "C-" or lower.
