Dale distributed a copy of “Recommendations by the 2005 Employee Contributions Task Force” to the committee.
After a short discussion with Dr. Nietzel on mission clarification, the committee voted to revise the first goal of its charge to the following:
- “To identify key issues that affect employees’ ability to balance their work life and personal life.”
What kind of outcomes?
- Effective recruiting
- Retention
- Reduce stress in the workplace
- Reduce absenteeism
- Lack of funding for salaries, provide more benefits
Minutes for October 3, 2006 were approved with the following addition.
- “Sara is to research the last six benchmark universities.”

- Demographic Report/Analysis – Jana Estergard
- Having another meeting with Mary Routh tomorrow. Jana will be gone for about three months and will have Mary Routh’s information available prior to leaving.
- Faculty Morale Survey report – Dr Michelle Visio
- Due to lack of participation; the faculty survey deadline was extended. Currently, Michelle thinks they are reviewing the data and should be getting the summary ready.
