Missouri State encourages all University units, including colleges, departments, and offices, to have a presence within the University website.
These web directories are not to be used for items of personal interest not related to the department's role at the University. The department head is responsible for all aspects of the website, including the accessibility, timeliness and accuracy of the information it contains. See the Web Policy for details.
There are two types of department websites:
Web Press website
The University recommends using Web Press, the University's content management system, to develop and maintain their websites. Complete the Web Press Site Request Form to obtain a new site or change developers.
Standard website
The University also offers standard websites to departments. You can use any web editing software to develop these web pages.
Creating a standard website
To establish a new standard departmental website, please complete the Department Website Application:

Giving others edit access
To obtain permission for developers to update a department website, please complete the Department Web Developer Form:
- Departmental Web Developer form in Microsoft Word*

Deleting a standard department website
To delete a standard department website, please email web@missouristate.edu.
Editing a standard department website
To edit a standard department website, you'll need to use WebDAV or network path access.
