Application development sites are available for University unit and organization web sites. Application development sites allow developers extended functionality:

  Provides support for ASP, ASP.NET, and PHP pages--more information on scripting languages can be found in the Web and New Media Knowlege Base
• Secure folders
  Hosting sensitive data which needs to be encrypted
• Restricted folders
  Hosting pages that require user authentication to view
• General HTML development
  Pages that require features not available through Web Press
