Copyright, Fair Use, and Technology: Considerations in Higher Education

Backup time frame reduction

Computer Services has reduced the timeframe that they maintain file backups of the web server. The new backup policy allows for restoring files from backup tapes if the files requested are less than 30 days old. Backups from the end of the previous semester files are available until 30 days into the new semester to allow for an additional buffer during semester breaks.
