The Web Developers Users' Group met on September 17, 2003, at 3:00 PM in the Parliamentary Room, PSU 313.

Title III grant

Sara Clark, Missouri State Web Coordinator, announced that the University has received a Title III grant. The grant will provide funding for a Web Content Management System as well as other university projects (training lab upgrade, migration to iSeries, and course management system upgrade). The funding for the web content management system will be released in the later part of 2004.

Website updates

Sara announced that a link to the Campaign for Missouri State web site has been placed on the Missouri State home page. She also mentioned that the Giving to Missouri State web site is now up.

inQsit

Michelle Hulett, adjunct instructor for Computer Information Systems, presented the inQsit web based testing and survey system. inQsit allows developers to create and administrator web-based tests and surveys. The system can provide several security features, such as proctor passwords, or it can collect anonymous survey input.
