Semester of Service

If you are interested in doing a semester of service, we have a great opportunity for you with Integrity Home Care.

Integrity Home Care is a service that is provided for Hospice Patients (those patients who are terminally ill and are within 6 months of death).  The goal is to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for their patients.  Volunteers are needed to help with the various patients and perform various tasks.  Each volunteer will be matched with a patient based on his or her own skills, interests, and abilities.  Such examples of service may be transcribing stories, painting portraits, music therapy, cooking & cleaning, just talking and interacting with the patients, or whatever skills you have to offer that may be of use to providing a comfortable environment.

You will be expected to serve at least 2 hours a week throughout the semester.  The duration and specific times are flexible based on your own schedule.  There will be a once a month meeting to discuss your experience with Integrity Home Care.
