

The School of Social Work is located in the heart of campus in Pummill Hall. This building provides a central location for faculty offices, classrooms, study lounges and more.
Social work classes are also offered at the Joplin satellite campus, 724 Illinois Ave. Classes are taught by two full-time instructors in Joplin, as well as by professors from the Springfield campus. You may also complete your practicum at approved sites in the Joplin area.
The Meyer Library provides a number of resources for your social work studies: book, reference materials, databases, journals and websites. You can access these resources at the library or online. A collection of resources is also available via the Social Work Subject Guide.
