Missouri State University

Leadership

Greek life at Missouri State has produced more campus leaders than any other organization on campus.  Fraternities/Sororities push every member to take a leadership role in either a Greek organization, or elsewhere on campus.  Greek organizations offer countless leadership training programs, and tons of leadership experience.  Within each chapter, members have a chance to assume a wide variety of leadership roles, ranging from recruitment chair to treasurer, intramural chair to President.  Holding chapter offices teaches Greek members how to coordinate events, effectively motivate their peers, and further develop their leadership skills.  Greek life is a great springboard to such campus involvement as Student Government, special interest organizations, Student Activities Council, the SOAR organization, and University Ambassadors.
