Student Employment 

On Campus Student Clearance

STUDENT CLEARANCE
FOR

ON CAMPUS EMPLOYMENT

All students must meet the following requirements
to work on campus

  I-9's, W-4's, and Direct Deposit - No student is allowed to begin work until all of these forms are completed.   No exceptions.
    
                        

                             These documents are provided in the hiring department for students.  Each document must be completed, the I-9 Form E-Verified and then all documents must be returned with an electronically submitted Clearance Form to Student Employment for processing.



International Students - must make an appointment with the  International Payroll Specialist in the Payroll Office to complete necessary documents to work on campus.

      Enrollment
              
Academic Year - minimum of 6 credit hours in each semester
                                                  employed
               *  Summer - minimum of 3 credit hours or:
                                    pre-enrolled minimum of 6 credit hours for upcoming
                                    fall and have been enrolled a minimum 6 credit hours
                                    in previous spring
     Enrollment for International Students
              
*  Academic Year - 12 credit hours each semester employed
               *  Summer - minimum of 3 credit hours or:
                                    pre-enrolled minimum of 12 credit hours for upcoming
                                    fall and have been enrolled 12 credit hours in the
                                    previous spring
     Enrollment for International Graduate Students
              
*  Academic Year
- 9 credit hours each semester employed
               *  Summer - minimum of 3 credit hours or:
                                    pre-enrolled for 9 credit hours for upcoming fall and
                                    have been enrolled 9 credit hours in the previous
                                    spring
     Class
              
*  
All students must be degree seeking
               *   May not be classified as post-baccalaureate (PB)  
      Probation

Students must maintain a 2.0 cumulative OR semester GPA
               *   Appeals for exceptions may be made through the Office of 
                    Student Employment Services
     Graduate Assistants
             
*
   Graduate Assistants must have permission from the Graduate
                   Office to work as a student employee while assistantship is in
                   effect
     Athletic Grant Recipients

   Students receiving an Athletic Grant must sign NCAA paperwork
                   in the Compliance Office
