2011 graduate of Plato High School

Why did you choose to attend Missouri State-West Plains?
I heard about Missouri State-West Plains through my older brother, and it seemed like an affordable school that provided a quality education at the same time.

What degree are you pursuing at Missouri State-West Plains and when do you plan to graduate?
I will graduate in May 2013 with an Associate of Arts in General Studies.

Are you involved in student organizations or groups?
I'm currently involved in Student Government Association, Student Ambassadors and Future Alumni Organization.

How would you describe your experience at Missouri State-West Plains?
My time here has been such a positive experience! The close-knit feeling of the University gives it a home-like quality and has helped me to feel more like a part of the school.

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation my plan is to pursue a degree in either philosophy or psychology at Missouri State-Springfield.

Other:
While it may not be a well-known, or annual award given out, a personal award I have received is the opportunity to be a student ambassador. I enjoy impacting prospective students in such a way that I can make them feel more comfortable about college or help answer questions that they may have regarding college.
