SOAR Check-In Information

General Check-In Information

Check-in to the SOAR program will begin at 9:00 am in the Level 1 Games Center on the first floor of the Plaster Student Union (pictured upper right). Check-in will end at 10:00 am, and the program will begin promptly at that time.  

Students Taking the Math Placement Exam

If you will be taking the math placement exam, please be present at the Plaster Student Union lobby at 8:15 a.m.  It is important that you arrive on time; students arriving after the exam's start will need to take the math placement exam during a later SOAR session or by scheduling an appointment to take the exam with the Mathematics Department. Once the exam is completed, a SOAR leader will assist you in checking in to the SOAR program.

Students and Families Staying in On-Campus Overnight Accommodations

If you plan to stay overnight on campus during our two-day SOAR sessions in June and July, please check in at Blair-Shannon House (pictured lower right) prior to checking in to the SOAR program.  Staff there will provide you with keys to your room and answer any questions you have before guiding you to the Plaster Student Union to check in for SOAR.

* Please note that overnight accommodations are not available to students attending our one-day SOAR sessions in January, August, and June summer school sessions.
