Welcome to SOAR at Missouri State University!

Student Orientation, Advisement & Registration (SOAR) is your first step in following your passion and finding your place at Missouri State University!

SOAR programs are designed to welcome you to your new campus home and help you make a successful transition to Missouri State. During SOAR, you will learn information about the university and campus life, speak with an academic advisor, register for your first semester of classes, and meet faculty, staff, and fellow students. But most of all, you will have fun and feel confident about choosing Missouri State!

Attendance of a SOAR session is required of all first-time freshmen (defined as students with fewer than 24 transferrable credit hours earned after their high school graduation) prior to registering for classes at Missouri State.

SOAR Sessions for Fall 2012 Admitted Students

SOAR session registration for students entering for the Fall 2012 semester will begin in April. Please visit our SOAR Session Dates page if you are interested in viewing the dates for available sessions this summer.

A specific date for the opening of our registration system will be posted in the coming months, so feel free to check our website regularly for updated information.

Any attempt to register for a session prior to the opening of our registration system will provide you with an error message.
