The tax accounting certificate program at Missouri State offers you a unique opportunity to specialize in this in-demand field of accounting. The School of Accountancy offers you two options for pursuing this certification—as a stand-alone program or as an addition to your graduate program of study.
If you are only interested in the certificate, you still must be admitted to both the Graduate College and the School of Accountancy.
Admission into the tax accounting certificate program first requires admission into the Graduate College. Also, you must meet the minimum admission requirements for the Master of Accountancy:
Candidates for the certificate program must be admitted to the University as a graduate student. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and meet minimum admission criteria for the Master of Accountancy program. All course work must be approved by the MAcc Program Director.
