View or download the PowerPoint presentation. You will need a Microsoft PowerPoint viewer to view this file.
You may register either on the web or in person through a registration center on campus. Web registration will generally be available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. CST. Monday through Friday and selected weekend hours.
The following are things you should know to prepare for a successful web registration:
You must have a Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Create a trial schedule. Check for any classes that require permission and request permission for these classes here.
Freshmen, sophomores, degree-seeking graduate students, or first-time transfer students, or students who are on academic probation, must have an advisor release.
If you will be in overload status (exceeding the credit hour limit), you must add those courses in person through a registration center. Please visit the frequently asked questions page for important details.
After you have processed your initial registration, you will be able (with some exceptions) to make changes (add/drop) on the web as well.
We encourage you to check your registration status through the My Information system now to verify your eligibility and confirm your registration time for the summer and fall semester.
The "Register for classes" feature is on the My Information menu.
Print a web registration checklist (PDF). You will need Adobe Acrobat to read this file.
To ensure compliance with university policies, the following students are required to register through a registration center and therefore will not be able to use the web registration system: entering first-time freshmen, precollege (high school dual enrollment) students, and intercollegiate athletes.
To submit an advisor release, choose the "Advising Notes & Releases" option at the Faculty/Advisor Resource Center (F/ARC).
To grant permission electronically for courses that require permission, choose "Course Permission Menu" at the Faculty/Advisor Resource Center (F/ARC).
To view your advisee list, choose the "My Advisee List" option at the Faculty/Advisor Resource Center (F/ARC).
Students who are given a temporary clearance form for a degree program encumbrance may bring the form to the Office of the Registration, Carrington Hall 320. The encumbrance will be temporarly lifted allowing the student to use web registration.
