The Office of the Registrar, in conjunction with Computer Services, is pleased to announce a new web-based grading system. Effective Fall 2005, faculty will enter grades for their classes electronically through the Faculty/Advisor Resource Center. As with the paper grade rosters of the past, web grade rosters will only be made available to you for a specified amount of time, as published on the academic calendar. The Faculty/Advisor Resource Center will be available for grading 24 hours a day during the grading period.
You must have a User ID, password, and a Missouri State University email address.
Review your class list. If a student is not on your class list, he/she is not registered and cannot be graded. For questions concerning enrollment, contact the Registration Center at 836-5520.
You must be listed as the primary instructor in order to grade the class. For additional information, see Frequently Asked Questions.
When assigning an F grade to a student who has stopped attending your class, be prepared to provide an approximate last date of attendance.
Submit grades as early as possible. Waiting until the deadline day may result in slower processing time due to system slowdown from heavy web traffic.
For additional information to prepare for grading, please visit our grading deadlines and reminders webpage.
Deans and department heads may check to see which instructors have not yet submitted grade rosters for their department or college by going to ARGOS Student Folder and choosing the Grade Roster Status report.
