Curricular Proposal Tracking System

This web site was developed to provide information regarding the approval status of curricular proposals and to assist the Office of the Registrar and the academic departments in the publication of the University catalogs. Access to the Curricular Proposal Search Feature is automatically granted to all faculty and staff who have been assigned a BearPass account (e.g. abc123). Please contact the Office of the Registrar at 836-5520 if you have any questions or comments about this web site.

All curricular proposals for courses, programs of study, and academic policies are posted after the proposal has gone out for challenge. Final approval dates and the effective semester/year are posted after the "Report on Disposition by President of Curricular Materials" has been issued by the Office of the Provost. Note: New programs of study may also require approval by the Board of Governors, the Coordinating Board of Higher Education, and the Missouri Department of Higher Education before becoming effective.

Search and Sort

Proposals can be found using one or more search parameters. Selecting all in the "Type" drop-down menu, will result in a complete listing of all curricular proposals. Results can be sorted by clicking on the column headings.

System Limitations Regarding Originators
  • Due to the constraints of this web system, all proposals in the category of "University Policies/Requirements" are found under the Office of the Provost. We do not have the capability of assigning the councils, CGEIP, BSED/MSED Oversight Committee, PEC, or Faculty Senate as an originator.

  • The drop-down list includes campus offices/programs other than the academic departments. If there are multiple entries for your department, select the entry containing the word department.
