The Bachelor of Science in Education degree provides a training program for teachers. The holder of this degree is normally granted a certificate to teach in Missouri. The candidate for this degree must meet the following requirements:

General Education requirements (43-51 hours)

Additional course credit to bring total to at least 125 hours. Most programs leading to teacher certification require more than the 125 University minimum for graduation. It is the student’s responsibility to meet all degree requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Education as specified by the department of the major.
