Climbing Wall

Reaching new heights with outdoor adventures

The Bill R. Foster and Family Recreation Center features an indoor rock climbing wall and outdoor boulder.

Campus recreation staff are available to belay you as you climb to the top of our more than 1,000 square foot wall, perfect for both top-rope and lead climbing. Our indoor wall also includes a bouldering area and cave.

If you would like to lead climb or belay your friends, certification is required through one of our outdoor adventures clinics. Belay clinics are comprehensive 1 hour sessions covering equipment, safety, knots and belay technique for only $5. Feel like you already know what you are doing? Catch one of our approved belay instructors during a slow time to test out for free.

What's happening on the wall?

Here's a list of some of the climbing wall events Outdoor Adventures has planned for this fall.  Get more out of your climbing experience by trying any of these climbing wall clinics.
