Get in the game with intramural sports


Intramural sports provide opportunities for leadership and personal development by promoting wellness and encouraging physical activity in a fun atmosphere of competitive sportsmanship. Intramural sports programs are open to all Missouri State University students, faculty and staff members.

Intramural sports offers variety in how you can play:


We have teams for men, women and co-ed groups.

Free agent

Can’t find a team? Become a free agent and fill in on various teams throughout a season.


University fraternities compete against one another in a number of interfraternity leagues and tournaments for points.


Intramural sports are also separated into two skill level leagues: Top Gun and Just for Fun. Just for Fun is a league with less emphasis on winning and losing. Top Gun is geared toward more competitive teams and players with previous collegiate experience.


Tournaments take place throughout the year in sports ranging from basketball to whiffleball. They are held around campus and at area parks and golf courses.
