This is my fourth semester teaching Bear Fit classes and I absolutely love it! My love for fitness comes from years of competing in volleyball, basketball, and track. In my free time I enjoy running, biking, hiking, shopping, going to the lake, swimming, and baking. I love working out, being active, and having fun while exercising. My favorite work outs include cardio and toning. So come to one of my classes for a fun and challenging work out that will have you sweating in no time!

Hello! My name is Lauren Walsh and this is my second year teaching BearFit classes. I am an Exercise and Movement Science major and I plan on taking over the fitness world shortly after graduation. My passion is running and yoga, but I seriously enjoy basically any form of exercise. Also, my favorite food is pasta. Love those carbs! Hope to see you all soon in class!

I a m a Senior geography major from Swansea, IL. I love fly fishing, cycling, cooking (I make a mean homemade pizza), and swimming in my free time. I dig a good adventure, and I've been lucky to see parts of Europe, Australia, and South America. Most days however, I am outside enjoying the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Ozarks with a few good friends or my new adopted kittens.

Im Nissi Rendon and this is my 3rd year teaching aerobics at MSU. I am majoring in criminology and minoring in art. I love dancing, snowboarding, wakeboarding and running. I am very excited for this upcoming semester, and will be teaching abs, step (which is my favorite), and tonning, so come challenge yourself and join me for a fun and exciting workout!!

I would say that I’m very outgoing because I’m all about meeting new people. I tend to use exercise as a stress reliever and love that it keeps me healthy at the same time. My life goals are to become an orthodontist in a tropical place and proceed on to marry Channing Tatum! I’m obsessed with the any dance movies and the newest hip hop music. This is my second semester fitness instructing for MSU and think it’s the greatest job ever. I can’t wait to have another awesome semester!

Maria's classes incorporate constantly changing material. You won't be doing the same things over and over. The movements are deceptively simple. You won't understand how hard you're working sometimes, that is until your whole body is sore the next day. Maria will graduate with her MA in English this fall, and will look forward to working simultaneously in the fitness industry and higher education.
Michelle
This is my second year teaching Bear Fit classes at Missouri State and I’m so excited! I teach kickboxing cardio and strength training at home and I absolutely love it. Staying active is a big part of my life and I enjoy finding fun, different ways to do it. I’m currently a junior and marketing major. I love Mexican food, so it’s a good thing I like to stay active! Here I teach Power Kick 20/20 and a couple boot camp sessions and I love making each class fun and unique. At first I know kickboxing and boot camp may seem a little intense but you’ll never know unless you try! It’s a super fun time and a great way to get into or stay in shape! Come see for yourself, you won’t regret it!
