CPR/FirstAid/AED

Learn American Red Cross skills necessary to prevent, recognize, and provide care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.  CPR certification will cover adult CPR and AED (automated external defibrillation) training.  Optional child and infant CPR will also be offered.

 

NOTE: Certification for all courses will now be for 2 years.  Previously CPR was 1 year and First Aid was 2 years.

Full time staff and faculty should register on the Human Resources website.

Spring 2012 Sessions

Fee: CPR - $55/person; First Aid - $40/person 

(Price changes effective August 1st due to certification fee increases from the American Red Cross) 

Session I:  February 7, 2012; Register by February 3, 2012                  

                     CPR:  8:30-12:00pm; First Aid:  12:00-1:30pm

Session II:  March 8, 2012; Register by March 2, 2012                 

                     CPR:  1:30-5:00pm; First Aid:  5:00-6:30pm

  • Location: PSU 312

Session III:  April 18, 2012; Register by April 13, 2012              

                     CPR:  8:30-12:00pm; First Aid:  12:00-1:30pm

  • Location: PSU 312

Session IV:  May 18, 2012; Register by May 14, 2012

                     CPR:  8:30-12:00pm (No First Aid this day)
