Campus Recreation offers part-time jobs with flexible hours, valuable work experience, and a great atmosphere. Campus Recreation provides a variety of student employment opportunities for Group Fitness Instructors, Intramural Sports Officials, Intramural Sports Supervisors, Office Assistants, Outdoor Adventures Trip Guides, and Graphic Design Artists. Many positions do not require previous experience and are able to accommodate student schedules.

| Group Fitness Instructor (floor) |

Instructors provide training to the Missouri State community by utilizing exercises that incorporate a variety of teaching methods. Classes taught range from strength, circuit, step, kickboxing, yoga, pilates, ball/strength and 20/20/20. Attendance at a Missouri State University Group Fitness Instructor Workshop is required for hire if not previously certified by AFAA, ACE, or other certification. Students will average about 1-5 hours per week. |

Group Fitness Instructor (water) |
| Instructors provide training to Missouri State community by utilizing safe exercises in the water to provide an amazing workout. Water aerobics combines stretching/flexibility, strength, and cardio in one hour. Attendance at a Missouri State University Group Fitness Instructor Workshop is required for hire if not previously certified by AFAA, ACE, AEA or other certification. Students will average about 1-4 hours per week. |
| Intramural Sports Assistant - work study only |

Intramural Sports Assistants greet and assist all participants and provides information about Intramural Sports activities. In addition, the Intramural Attendant assists Intramural Officials with completing pre and post-game duties and implementing policies and procedures of the Intramural Sports program. |
| Intramural Sports Officials |
| Officiating is fun and rewarding as well as exciting and challenging. Becoming a sports official only requires an interest in sports and a desire to learn to officiate. Appropriate training will be provided to assist the official in knowledge and management of the sport. The typical official works 2-3 shifts per week and averages about 6-15 hours per week. |
| Intramural Sports Supervisor |
| All intramural sports activities utilize Intramural Sports Supervisors and are selected from the most dependable and responsible sports officials. Their responsibility is to oversee Intramural Sports daily programs and to ensure they run smoothly. |
| Office Assistants |
| The Office Assistant interacts with the Missouri State community members in the Campus Recreation office to seek information or pay for activities. This includes navigating the Campus Recreation online registration system and serving as a reference source for various questions. Attendants assist customers with Outdoor Adventures rental operations, and maintenance of Outdoor Adventures equipment, inventory, and library. The Office Assistant is also responsible for posting flyers and assisting with special projects and assignments. |
| Outdoor Adventures Trip Guides |
| Trip Guides complete projects, based on assignments and personal interests, to further development themselves and Outdoor Adventures programs. Also, the Trip Guide will teach and lead trips and instructional workshops. Extensive knowledge of the outdoors is required for this position. |
| Graphic Design Artists |
| Produces advertising campaigns for events sponsored by Campus Recreation through creativity of printed materials and ad layout. Monitors and maintains inventory of graphic design supplies. |
