Personal Training Policies

Personal Training Session Information:

Session Duration

Sessions are one hour long for a regular personal training session.  Express training is a 30 minute option.

Late Policy

Sessions that start late will still end one hour from the original start time.  If the individual arrives 15 minutes or more late, the session will be considered a no show and will be forfeited.

Cancellation Policy

Client must provide 24-hour notice for any cancellations, otherwise the session will be forfeited or up to the discretion of administration.

Payment

All personal training sessions must be paid in full prior to training.  Sessions must be scheduled 3 days in advance.

Proper Attire

Tennis shoes and athletic attire (gym shorts or sweatpants and athletic t-shirt) must be worn at each session and the assessment.

Preparing for Your Sessions

Assessments must be completed prior to scheduling a training session.  It is recommended to maintain proper hydration before, during, and after each session.  It is also recommended that a small meal be consumed 30 minutes before each session to assure of adequate energy.

Note:

It is your right to discontinue exercise if feeling uncomfortable.

It is the trainer's right to discontinue the session if he or she feels that it is of the best interest to both individuals.

Non-MSU/Campus Rec Personal Trainers

Any person who is not employed as a Campus Recreation personal trainer proven to be personal training on the premisis will be subject to possible membership suspension.
