The Missouri State University debate team has finished one of its best seasons ever. The team placed third in both the National Debate Tournament (NDT) and the Cross Examination Debate Association (CEDA) tournament with Missouri State debaters making history by capturing first place speaker awards at both tournaments. Martin Osborn, a senior political science major, won the first place speaker award during the NDT March 28-31 at California State University Fullerton, placing ahead of the 155 other debaters at the tournament. As a result, Missouri State will house the Tiffany Cup until next year’s tournament.

The exhibit provided a basic overview for writing an assessment report, evaluating the report, and supporting the development of a report. Components defined assessment, identified items to be included in a narrative, provided forms for displaying assessment information, described the Assessment Council review process, displayed criteria for feedback, and summarized university outcomes assessment measures.
