Provost Fellow for Diversity and Inclusiveness

The Provost Fellow for Diversity will provide leadership for diversity, inclusion and related strategic initiatives for Missouri State University. Enhancing and sustaining diversity while promoting a culture of inclusiveness and developing strategic initiatives that contribute to the success of faculty, staff and students are also essential goals.

Juan Meraz is currently the Director of Diversity for the College of Business Administration at Missouri State University. He graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Master of Business Administration and has been teaching fulltime at Missouri State University since 1999. Juan serves as the first Provost Fellow for Diversity at Missouri State University and as faculty advisor for Leading in Education to Approach Latinos (LEAL), Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE), and Men of Vision, the new Latino Fraternity. Juan is also the current President of the Academy of International Business U.S. Midwest Chapter which meets at the MBAA International Conference, convening in March of 2008 in Chicago.
