The pharmacy degree is not currently offered at Missouri State. To become a pharmacist, you need to graduate with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, serve an internship under a licensed pharmacist and pass a State examination (NAPLEX) - all of which enables you to obtain a license to practice. A license to practice pharmacy is required in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories. In the past, you could qualify with a PharmBS degree, but it has been phased out as an entry-level pharmacy degree in favor of the PharmD degree.
Missouri State offers the courses necessary for admission into an accredited pharmacy school.
