  1. Costs for long distance calls, equipment, and work orders are charged back to departments each month via an automated batch billing.  
  2. A web based detailed bill is sent to departments at the beginning of each month listing long distance calls, equipment, and work order charges for each line.
  3. Each department should check their monthly budgets to ensure an accurate posting of charges for telecommunication services.  Departments should also check the itemized printout of long distance charges and have each employee verify that the calls placed from their extension were authorized and for University business.
