Please note: Signing up for a date and time is required. If you do not register for a time and date, you will not be allowed to take the exam.
Please make sure you are at least five minutes early. The exam takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Children are not allowed in the exam sessions. Please make arrangement for childcare during the exam time.
Please bring the following with you to the exam:
- Some form of photo identification. Preferably, this will be your Missouri State University student ID or driver's license, but a passport or other form of valid photo ID will be acceptable. If you do not bring a photo ID, you will not be allowed to take the exam.
- Your BearPass Number [M-Number] (If you don't know your BearPass Number, go to the following address: https://Cams.missouristate.edu and select Get Resources.)
You may bring:
- A four-function non-graphing calculator (i.e. one that adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides). Cell phones or other electronic devices cannot be used in place of a calculator.
- A self-addressed, stamped business size envelope if you wish to have an official report of your score mailed to you. Score reports are mailed approximately six weeks after the end of the semester. Scores are not given out by email or phone but will be available through your MyMissouriState page at that time. Please print your full name legibly exactly as it appears in your university record to ensure we are able to identify you correctly.
If you know ahead of time that you will not be able to attend your scheduled section of GEN 499, or if you believe you are going to be late, you can drop your section of the exam and register for a different section. To do this, follow the instructions on Blackboard, under the "Register for a Date and Time" section.
If you miss your exam, or if you arrive late and are unable to take the exam, you can register for another scheduled section of the exam. Information about general registration can be found on the Office of the Registrar website. If you have any problems rescheduling using the new system on Blackboard, send an e-mail to ExitExam@MissouriState.edu or call 836-4738.
