Students must register for a time and date at least 24 hours prior to the desired testing session. Walk-ins will not be permitted to take the exam.
Beginning Summer 2013, the scheduling system for the University Exit Exam has changed. Students will use the following method to sign up for a date and time to take the Exit Exam:
- Register for the GEN 499 exam class the same way you register for your other classes. There is only one section of GEN 499. You may take the exam any time after completing 90 credit hours and before you graduate.
- Access the University Exit Exam-GEN 499 course on Blackboard. Instructions for registering for a specific time and date are available under the "Register for a Time and Date" section.
Information about general registration can be found on the website of the Office of the Registrar. For questions specifically about registering for GEN 499, please contact Exit Exam Administration at ExitExam@MissouriState.edu or 417-836-4738.
A schedule of class sections is available on our website .
If you know ahead of time that you will not be able to attend your scheduled section of GEN 499, or if you believe you are going to be late, you can drop your section of the exam and add a different section to your schedule. To do this, follow the instructions available on Blackboard.
Please be courteous to your peers and attend your scheduled section. There is limited seating available for each testing session. If you know ahead of time that you will not be able to attend your scheduled session, please unenroll using instructions on Blackboard. If you have any problems re-enrolling for another testing session, send an e-mail to ExitExam@MissouriState.edu or call 836-4738.
