Purpose

Missouri Rehabilitation Center is a specialty hospital providing long-term acute care for patients throughout the state of Missouri. Patients choose this facility because they require longer lengths of stay than provided at short-term acute care hospitals and because of the complexity of their medical and rehabilitation needs. Patients referred to MRC are typically acutely ill, require specialized rehabilitative programs, intensive nursing intervention and considerable accommodations.

Goals

Missouri Rehabilitation Center strives to offer the highest quality patient care, fulfilling our mission and achieving long-term success through constant vigilance in complying with the highest ethical standards. The successful achievement of an ethical environment is a shared responsibility of employees, medical staff members, interns, residents, volunteers and others associated with MRC. All departments integrate these ethical standards into their practice.

Services Provided

The Center provides:

  • Significantly ancillary services: lab, radiology, ICU, respiratory care, assisted technology assessments and more
  • A patient centered, outcome-focused, interdisciplinary, physician-directed professional rehabilitation team
  • Clinically competent care providers with advanced assessment and intervention skills
  • Education for the patients present and future healthcare needs
