It is the mission of the Larry Simmering Recovery Center to provide quality substance abuse or addiction rehabilitation services to individuals who are in need of assistance and who desire recovery.
To provide an atmosphere of serenity that encourages recovery and provides a therapeutic environment that focuses on recognizing and treating the multifaceted problems created by chemical dependency. It is a non-profit, full spectrum, drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, there to serve chemically dependent persons.
The center provides face-to-face interview assessment with a detailed psychosocial history. This is completed and evaluated so that the appropriate form of treatment may be recommended. The clients are continuously monitored to make sure they are stabilizing safely. The center provides residential treatment which consists of medical lectures, group therapy, educational lectures, relapse recognition and prevention skills, individual therapy, family groups, and 12-Step support programs. The maximum length of residential treatment is 28 days. The center provides a Comprehensive Outpatient Program that consists of lectures, group therapy, individual therapy, and 12-Step recovery. These classes are available during the daytime and evening with a total of 6 hours weekly, for about 8 weeks, followed by 12 weeks of Continuing Care. The Intensive Structure Outpatient Program consists of individual counseling sessions, group therapy, educational lectures, individual family therapy, family group therapy, and monitoring of the 12-Step group attendance. Random urine drug screens are available as needed. All attendance and services are individualized to maximize client outcomes. SATOP is designed to provide an appropriate response to alcohol and drug related driving offences. Different SATOP programs include Offender Education Program of Clinical Intervention Program.
This is a non-profit, full spectrum drug and alcohol treatment center. It is a free standing, non-hospital-based facility which keeps costs at a minimum. For clients who qualify, services are provided on a sliding-scale basis and are funded by the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
Provides treatment to clients of no younger than 18 years old and has no exceeding age limit. They treat clients that have multiple addictions, no home, no insurance, federal probations, police records, no job, DFS cases, and many others.
