Mission

Empowering women to make better choices.

Purpose

Carol Jones Recovery Center for Women provides in-patient and out-patient drug and alcohol treatment to women. The main goal is for consumers to learn to live chemically free, become financially independent and maintain a healthy support system. Another goal is to treat all the women served with dignity and respect, to encourage community mindedness and approach the treatment process from a team-driven approach.

Philosophy

Develop a collaborative relationship with women, their families and community resources to foster healthy functioning living for all members involved.

Services Provided

CJRCW provides support for the following: Chemical dependency; Overcoming denial; Relapse prevention; Familial/relationship issues; Building self-esteem; Decision making/Communication skills; Stress management skills; Employment/job retention skills; Parenting skills; Assertiveness training; Social network in recovery; Orientation to 12-Step program; Health and nutrition; AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases; Women's health issues; Spirituality; Criminal thinking; and Dual Diagnosis (substance abuse and mental disorders).

Population Served

Women with substance abuse. Programs offered also target the woman's immediate family.
