Students wishing to audition for acceptance as a music major in the woodwind area should prepare literature or etudes (for example, a state solo contest piece or all-state audition music) of two contrasting styles that demonstrate technique and expression.
In addition, students will be asked to play major scales through four sharps and four flats, a chromatic scale and sight-reading.
