Four-Year Graduation Plan

Bachelor of Arts in Music

A music degree at Missouri State can be completed in four years or a total of eight semesters. However, a four-year graduation plan does not take into account dual credit or transfer credit that you may bring upon admission to the University.

Degree options

The music department offers a non-comprehensive Bachelor of Arts and a comprehensive Bachelor of Music degree that can be taken with a focus in one of five areas. Your path to graduation may vary slightly based on factors such as college credit you earned while in high school, your choice to pursue music as a comprehensive Bachelor of Music or as the non-comprehensive Bachelor of Arts, which requires a minor or second major.
