The MSU Ad Team, Advertising program, is nationally recognized and is the largest known program within a comprehensive
Marketing department in the nation. Our Ad Team is the TEAM TO BEAT in regional and national competitions. In 2010 the
Ad Team presented a research-based advertising campaign on "tween" seatbelt use to federal officials from the National
Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA.) The Ad Team also finished first in the 2008 American Public Transportation
Association (APTA) "Go Green. Go Public." campaign. Their commercial was even featured during the Super Bowl!
In the past 11 years, the MSU Ad Team has won the District competition 5 times. Our District includs the finest schools in the
surrounding 4-state area of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa. The Missouri State Advertising Team has the highest
winning percentage in the Midwest.
